TRAIN INFORMATION

The main station in Zurich is Zurich HB and serves as the main transportation hub in

Switzerland.

Train tickets can be purchased by going to the website below or downloading the SBB Mobile

app or Trainline app.

https://www.sbb.ch/en

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • We recommend buying tickets ahead of time and creating a profile for ease of access. Make sure to be at the departure platform at least 10 mins in advance. The trains depart and arrive on time. There is plenty of space for luggage on the trains.

  • There is no need to have a reserved seat as there is plenty of seating on the trains (they will charge extra for this option).

  • If you are considering exploring different cities in Switzerland, consider purchasing the Swiss Half Fare Card (for half fare price on train tickets). Each passenger will need a Swiss Half Fare Card for the discount.

  • Swiss Half Fare Card

  • 120 CHF (Valid for 1 month)

  • Point to Point tickets can be used for any route between two cities. Supersaver tickets can only be used for the selected route, date and time.
